This pilot project provides access to five interviews from the Zoroastrian Dari Voices project.
A total of 293 interviews could be delivered by a full repository — providing both long-term access for the research community, as well as making a wealth of material including documents, maps and manuscripts available to the public for the first time.

Voices from Zoroastrian Iran

Collection
This collection of interviews, conducted during 2008, uses the InvenioRDM repository platform for long-term accessibility and preservation. It forms part of the Endangered Languages Archive, which preserves endangered languages from all over the world, making them available for future generations.
About the Dari Voices Project
Dari Voices maps the remaining Zoroastrian communities in Iran. It provides almost 300 interviews in which Zoroastrians speak about their lives before and after the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Language Information
The Zoroastrian Dari language is traditionally associated with the Zoroastrian communities in the cities of Yazd and Kerman and their outlying villages. Today Dari and its various sub-dialects are spoken by Zoroastrians across the Yazdi plains.
